Peter Rice is President and CEO of Hanscom Federal Credit Union, a 1.8 billion dollar institution. He holds a master's in finance from Harvard and recently testified before the Senate Banking Committee as the sole credit union representative, at the invitation of Senator Elizabeth Warren. Six weeks after losing his wife to cancer, Peter took his two young sons to walk the Camino de Santiago across Spain. That journey became his book, Break or Become: How Hard Roads Make Better Leaders, a memoir about grief, fatherhood, faith, and the kind of leadership that is forged through endurance rather than control.
